UCU’s Charles Goguen named MSC Men’s Bowler of the Week

Barbourville, Ky. - Union Commonwealth University's Charles Goguen has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Bowler of the Week.

Goguen placed second at the Bulldog Bash this past weekend. He totaled 830 pins and an average of 207.5 over four games.

Goguens' top-five finish at the Bulldog Bash secured him a spot on the All-Tournament Team.

 "I'm blessed to have two bowlers make the All-Tournament Team. This is the first time for both of them to be named Mid-South Bowlers of the Week," said head coach Tom Doyle. "Charles worked on his game and mental approach this summer, and it's great to see it pay off right away. There's nothing like success to reward your hard work."

Up next for the Bulldogs is the Orange and Black Classic on Saturday, Oct. 19.
