Major: Sports and Recreation Management

Sean Tolbert is a Sports and Recreation Management major who says his favorite thing about Union is the campus layout—easy to navigate and simple to get around, which helps him stay focused and on track.

His favorite subject in high school was math, and his dream job is to become a sports surgeon. He’s passionate about helping athletes recover and get back to doing what they love.

Sean’s football icon is Tez Johnson, and his favorite drink is Hi-C with no ice. When it comes to road trip snacks, he keeps it classic with Gushers, and his go-to meal is Rotel. He’s most active on Snapchat and has a dog named Bully.

He describes himself as a quiet teammate—someone who stays calm and chill, but is always present and reliable. Sean wants to be remembered for his laid-back nature and steady presence on the team. His second-best sports are baseball and basketball.

Sean credits Coach Holmes as someone who has had a positive impact on him during his time at Union, helping shape his experience on and off the field.
