Calliyon Thompson is a Sports and Recreation major at Union Commonwealth University who thrives on the positive energy of those around him. His favorite thing about Union is the people, saying they create a comfortable and supportive environment that feels like home.

When he’s not in class or on the field, Calliyon enjoys fishing and listening to music, two hobbies that help him stay relaxed and focused. His dream job is to become an NFL athlete, a goal he’s had since childhood.

In high school, his favorite subject was math, and he looks up to football icon Kameron Smith. His go-to drink is water, and he’s a fan of mini Starbursts on road trips. His favorite meal is chicken alfredo, and he’s most active on TikTok.

Calliyon has a dog named London, and describes himself as “the hype man” of any team—bringing energy, encouragement, and motivation to those around him. He wants to be remembered for making a big impact at Union Commonwealth, both on and off the field.

Someone who has made a positive impact on his college journey is Tori Doyle, and when he’s not playing football, you’ll find him competing in his other sports: baseball and volleyball.
