Major: Pre-Physical Therapy

Anthony Pointer is majoring in Pre-Physical Therapy and loves Union for its welcoming atmosphere and the openness of the people on campus.

His favorite subject in high school was math. Outside the classroom, Anthony enjoys basketball, video games, and ping pong. His dream is to either play in the NFL or pursue a career in physical therapy—two goals he’s equally passionate about.

His favorite drink is either water or Hi-C fruit punch, and his go-to road trip snack is Sun Chips. His favorite meal is homemade egg rolls, and he’s most active on Snapchat. He also has a dog.

Anthony’s football icon is Cam Newton. As a teammate, he sees himself as a true team player—someone who’s dependable and always willing to do his part. He wants to be remembered for being reliable and bringing consistency to the field. His second-best sport is basketball.

Anthony credits Coach Day for having a positive impact on his time at Union, helping him grow both as a player and as a person.
