Major: Business Management

William Orr is a Business Management major who enjoys Union’s small-campus atmosphere, where “everyone knows everyone,” making it easy to build strong

William’s favorite subject in high school was math. His top hobby is working on cars—he’s passionate about automotive technology and enjoys spending his free time under the hood. He also stays active on TikTok and enjoys classic favorites like Dr Pepper and M&M’s on road trips. His favorite meal is tacos, and he has one dog at home.

William’s dream job is to become an NFL player so he can get paid to do what he loves. His football icon is Jason Kelce, and he strives to bring that same leadership and toughness to the field. As a teammate, William describes himself as someone who pushes others to be their best—by keeping it honest and not sugarcoating anything. He wants to be remembered for his football career and the effort he put into it. His second-best sport is basketball.

William gives credit to Coach Carter and Coach Day for having a positive impact on him during his time at Union. Coach Carter, in particular, holds special meaning as a former coach and Union alum who helped pave the way for William’s college journey.

Beyond the gridiron, William’s love for working on cars sets him apart—highlighting his hands-on, hardworking personality both on and off the field.
