Landon McKinley-Newby appreciates the supportive and involved community at Union Commonwealth University. Outside of football, he enjoys playing basketball and working out. His dream job is to become a real estate agent and accountant, combining his interests in business and numbers.

In high school, social studies was his favorite subject. Landon looks up to Cam Newton as his sports icon. He enjoys Gatorade and lifesaver gummies on the road, with Lao’s stir fry as his favorite meal. He has a dog and stays connected on Instagram.

Landon considers himself a caring and helpful teammate. He wants to be remembered for the impact he makes on both his community and teammates. Coach Tori Doyle has made a positive impact on his life. Basketball is his second-best sport.
