Bio

Major: Exercise Science

Jacob Johnson is an Exercise Science major who says his favorite thing about Union is the staff—their constant support makes campus feel like home.

His dream is to become a physical therapist, inspired by the care he received during his own rehab experiences and a desire to give that same high-quality treatment to others. In high school, his favorite subject was English, and away from football he loves wrestling (he even helps coach his old team when he’s back home).

Jacob’s football icon is James Harrison, admired for his toughness and work ethic. His go-to drink is Coke Zero, and Sweet Baby Ray’s beef jerky is his must-have road-trip snack. A perfect meal for him is steak and eggs. He’s most active on Instagram and has a full house of pets—three dogs and a cat.

As a teammate, Jacob views himself as a motivator who keeps the energy high and the group focused. He wants to be remembered for his resilience—never backing down from challenges on or off the field. He credits Ms. Robin for having a significant positive impact on his journey at Union. His second-best sport is wrestling.
