Major: Health & Physical Education

Lamik Jackson is a Health and PE major at Union Commonwealth University with a passion for giving back. His favorite thing about Union is the campus, which he says immediately felt like the right place to grow both academically and athletically.

Outside of the classroom, Lamik enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors. His dream job is to become a coach, inspired by a desire to help people who come from the same struggle he did.

In high school, math was his favorite subject, and he looks up to football icon Ezekiel Elliott. His go-to drink is Dr. Pepper, his favorite road trip snack is Takis Dynamites, and he could eat tacos any day of the week. His favorite social media platform is TikTok.

Lamik describes himself as a respectful teammate—someone who always brings positive energy and is there when you need him. He wants to be remembered for helping others and making an impact far beyond the field.

Union holds a special place in his heart—not only for his own journey, but because his brother and girlfriend are also proud Union graduates.
