Major: Psychology

Taryn "Alyvia" Wilson is a Psychology major who values the close-to-home feeling Union provides. With a passion for helping others, she hopes to become a pediatric therapist—someone who offers comfort and support to children and teens while helping them navigate life’s challenges.

Her favorite subject in high school was science, and when she’s not cheering, she enjoys reading and coloring pictures. Taryn’s go-to drink is Dr Pepper, her favorite snack for road trips is Peanut M&Ms, and she never turns down pizza for a meal. She’s active on TikTok and shares her life with two dogs.

She sees herself as a teammate who takes accountability and steps up to help when needed. Taryn wants to be remembered for her kindness and the positive energy she brings to the team. Her cheer icon is Gabi Butler, and her second-best sport is track. Someone who’s made a meaningful impact on her time at Union is her coach, Lisa Napier.
