Mackenzie Middleton loves the sense of family and feeling at home at Union Commonwealth University. A supportive and positive teammate, she is known for her strong communication and her ability to bring smiles and fun to every practice and game.

Outside of cheer, Mackenzie enjoys photography and owns her own photography business. She loves capturing moments for others and making them unforgettable. Her favorite meal is chicken rice and cheese, and on road trips she likes to snack on Life Saver gummies with a Dr Pepper in hand.

Mackenzie hopes to one day be a teacher who plays a meaningful role in shaping her students’ futures. Her favorite subject in high school was social studies, and when she’s not cheering, she enjoys playing volleyball. She looks up to Reece Weaver as her favorite icon within the sport. She has two dogs and a cat at home and credits her coach, Lisa Napier, for being a positive influence in her journey.
