Major: Elementary Education

Glyn Daniels is an Elementary Education major with a passion for working with children and a deep love for cheer. Her dream is to become an elementary school teacher and cheer coach, aiming to make a lasting impact on young lives both in the classroom and on the sidelines. “Children’s hearts are so pure,” she says, “and it’s a great joy to be around them. I want my pom poms buried with me—cheer is forever!”

Her favorite high school subject was science, and she looks up to cheer icon Mara Wilson. In her free time, Glyn loves shopping and sipping on her go-to drink, iced coffee. Her favorite road trip snack is Nerds Gummy Clusters, and her ideal meal is steak with a baked potato. She's most active on Snapchat and considers herself an uplifting and supportive teammate.

Glyn hopes to be remembered for brightening people’s day with her energy and kindness. Fun fact—her high school cheer coach is a Union alum, making her journey at Union even more meaningful.
