ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. – The Union Commonwealth University baseball team (4-23, 1-16 AAC) dropped both games of a Saturday doubleheader against Milligan (28-6, 14-4 AAC) in non conference action.
Game One: Milligan 12, Union Commonwealth 2

Milligan took an early lead in the bottom of the first inning, capitalizing on an RBI single and a sacrifice fly to go ahead 2-0.

Union Commonwealth answered in the top of the second when Aiden Wilson scored on a wild pitch to cut the deficit to 2-1.

The Buffaloes broke the game open in the third and fourth innings, combining for 10 runs to extend their advantage. The Bulldogs added a run late when Marquese Glynn delivered an RBI single to score Isaiah Pintor.

Union Commonwealth struck first in the top of the first inning as Isaiah Pintor drove in Aiden Wilson with an RBI single.

Milligan responded with a dominant stretch, scoring 10 runs between the first and fourth innings to take control.

Wilson added a solo home run in the sixth inning to trim the deficit to 10-2, but the Buffaloes answered with an unearned run in the bottom half of the inning to secure the 11-2 final. The Bulldogs were unable to mount a comeback.
