Union Baseball Falls in Game One Against Milligan
ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. – The Union Commonwealth University baseball team (3-13, 0-10 Appalachian Athletic Conference) fell in the first game of its conference series against Milligan (17-3, 8-2 AAC) at Anglin Field.

Milligan took control early, scoring in the first two innings behind multiple singles and extra-base hits to build a quick 8-0 lead.

In the top of the third, Nathan McCabe delivered a two-RBI double to score Aiden Wilson and Joaquin Gutierrez, cutting the deficit to 8-2.

The Buffaloes responded in the bottom of the inning, extending their lead to 11-2.

From the fourth through the sixth innings, Milligan continued to add to its lead, scoring 13 more runs to secure the 24-2 victory.
