Ben McEvoy appreciates the positive atmosphere at Union, where the professors and coaches are dedicated to helping each student and athlete succeed. He leads by example, bringing energy, a strong work ethic, and positivity to every practice and game.

Outside of baseball, Ben enjoys working out, watching UFC, and spending time with his Golden Retriever, Callie. His favorite meal is steak and baked potato, and on road trips, he likes to snack on chocolate-covered pretzels with Cherry Coke in hand.

Ben looks up to Pete Rose as his favorite athlete and dreams of becoming a professional baseball player. If that path doesn’t unfold, he hopes to stay connected to the game as a baseball agent. Alongside baseball, he enjoys playing football as his second sport.
