Major: Elementary Education

Austin Bargo values the people around the Union Commonwealth University baseball program, noting how they create an environment where everyone feels like they belong. A dedicated and competitive teammate, he describes himself as a winner both on and off the field. Outside of baseball, Austin enjoys following the Boston Red Sox and keeping up with sports such as MLB, college basketball, and UFC.

His favorite meal is Japanese cuisine, and he enjoys drinking sweet tea with peanut butter M&M’s as his go-to road trip snack. Austin has one dog and looks up to former MLB second baseman Dustin Pedroia as his favorite sports icon. Passionate about helping others, Austin hopes to become a teacher who makes a difference in students’ lives both in and beyond the classroom.
