Bio

Drew Baumgartner is the Pitching Coach for the Union Commonwealth University baseball team. A native of Quincy, California, he graduated from Quincy Jr./Sr. High School in 2018. Baumgartner began his collegiate baseball career at Feather River College, where he played from 2018 to 2022, before transferring to Texas A&M University–Texarkana, playing from 2022 to 2024 while earning his bachelor’s degree in Business.

Following his playing career, Baumgartner remained at Texas A&M University–Texarkana as the Pitching Coach in 2024, gaining valuable experience developing pitchers at the collegiate level.

Baumgartner is engaged to Morgan and is supported by his family, including his mother, Gretchen, father, Terry, and sister, Lexi.
