Bulldogs Finish Sixth at USA Archery Nationals, Earn Multiple Medals
LANSING, Mich. — The Union Commonwealth University archery team competed at the 2026 HotelPlanner USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals, finishing sixth overall with a score of 53.50 in a national field that featured top NAIA and NCAA programs from across the country.
In the mixed team fixed pins division, Ryker Jordan and Rylie Baker earned a bronze medal, defeating the University of Rio Grande, 151-148.
In the team rounds, the men's compound trio of Isaac Sullivan, Kapt Brandt and Sergio Edgar Martinez Cruz secured a silver medal for the Bulldogs with a score of 219. Kyle Coffey, John Shelby Stephens and Thomas Ramsey added a bronze medal in men's barebow, defeating Rio Grande, 6-2.
In elimination rounds, Union placed two archers in the top four of the men's compound division. Sullivan earned silver with a score of 140, while Brandt placed fourth with a matching score of 140.
In women's fixed pins, Baker finished fourth with a score of 122.
Multiple Bulldogs also earned All-American honors for their performances at the national championship, further highlighting Union's success against some of the strongest collegiate archery programs in the nation. Click here to learn more.
