Bulldogs Capture Two National Titles at Collegiate 3D Nationals 

FOLEY, AL. – The Union Commonwealth University archery team recently competed at the USA Archery Collegiate 3D Nationals, earning an eighth-place overall team finish.

In the men's compound team event, Isaac Sullivan, Kapt Brandt, and Sergio Edgar Martinez Cruz claimed the national title after defeating Rio Grande 104–100. On the women's side, Ava Noehre, Zoie Thompson, and Ruthie Masengale placed fourth in the compound division.

The Bulldogs added another title in men's barebow, as Kyle Coffey, Thomas Ramsey, and John Shelby Stephens captured the championship with a 74–69 victory over Rio Grande.

Individual Shootdown

Sullivan earned a bronze medal in men's compound, finishing third with a score of 490 and 31 12s. Brandt followed closely in fifth with 27 12s and a total of 448.

In men's barebow, Coffey secured third place with a score of 394 and four 12s, while Ramsey finished fifth with 353. Stephens placed 12th after recording a score of 331.

In women's barebow, Baylee McQueen placed 16th overall with a score of 302.

Mixed Team

Sullivan and Noehre teamed up to place fourth in compound mixed pairs with a combined score of 863. In barebow, Coffey and McQueen finished fifth with a score of 669.

In the fixed pin division, Kason Bennett and Allie Riddle placed eighth with a combined score of 773, while Braylon Greene and Kaylee Wilson took 10th in recurve with a 670.
