Sport Assignments: Men's Soccer, Softball, Archery, and Bowling

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Sydney Bargo is the Director of Sports Medicine at Union Commonwealth University. 

She is a graduate of Robert Service High School (Class of 2013) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas (2017). She went on to earn her Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky, in 2019 while acting as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer working with the Knox County High Schools. 

Sydney brings a strong commitment to athlete wellness and injury prevention, backed by years of academic training and hands-on experience.

Outside of her professional role, Sydney enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking local trails, kayaking, or exploring state and national parks. At home, she spends her time working with livestock and gardening vegetables. She resides in Knox County with her husband, Chandler, their son, Case, and their two dogs, Memphis and Weller.
