BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – Union College head women's soccer coach Camila Mendes unveiled the Bulldogs' 2017 schedule.

This upcoming season features 18 total matches with nine games being held at home. Union is coming off a 10-8-2 season, while finishing 5-4-1 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).

The Bulldogs kick off the 2017 season at home as their first two contests are held at Williamson Stadium against non-conference foes. First matchup will be against Asbury (Ky.) on Aug. 22 and then Georgetown (Ky.) on Aug. 26. Followed with an away match against Shawnee State (Aug.29) before getting into conference play.

Union opens up AAC play hosting Brenau (Ga.) on Sept. 2 at Williamson Stadium before heading back on the road. The Bulldogs step out of AAC play by traveling to West Virginia Tech on Sept. 6. The final match up set before getting back into conference play is on Sept. 12 against University of the Cumberlands (Ky.).

Back in conference play, the Bulldogs pay visits to Point (Ga.) on Sept. 16 and Tennessee Wesleyan on Sept. 19. After the two road games, Union returns home to face Milligan (Tenn.) on Sept. 23 before it heads back on the road for three consecutive games. First, the Bulldogs play at Bryan (Tenn.) on Sept. 26, followed by Columbia on Sept. 30 and Bluefield (Va.) on Oct. 4.

In October, the Bulldogs return home to face Reinhardt (Ga.) on Oct. 7 and then will step out of a conference play to play Rio Grande (Ohio) a visit on Oct. 11. Continuing their AAC play, the Bulldogs will host St. Andrews (N.C.) on Oct. 14 and wrap up their non-conference slate at Georgia Gwinnett on Oct. 25.

In addition, the Bulldogs host their annual homecoming game Oct. 21 against Truett McConnell (Ga.) and their senior day match will be on Oct. 28 as they take on Montreat (N.C.).
