ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. – The Union College men's golf team wrapped up the final day of competition at the Milligan Invitational/Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Spring Championship with the Bulldogs finishing eighth on Tuesday.

Union ended the two-day competition with a final round score of 312 to finish the tournament with an overall score of 618. Champion Milligan edged the field with a two-day score of 588.

Erik Hermansson (JR/Gothenburg, Sweden) led the way for Union shooting a 75 in the final round to give him a 148 total score, finishing tied for fifth place, earning All-Tournament team honors.

The next top performances for Union came from Conor Sutton (JR/Dublin, Ireland) (78, 72) and Jacob Vaughn (FR/Barbourville, Ky. ) (79, 80), as Sutton shot a 150 and Vaughn shot 159, which was good enough for 13th and 38th place, respectively.

The Bulldogs return to action on Monday to kick off the NAIA Direct Qualifier/AAC Championship in Acworth, Ga.
