GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Union College men's golf continued its spring schedule with an 11th-place finish at the Tusculum Invitational as the Link Hills Golf and Country Club this past weekend.

As a team, the Bulldogs ended with a two-day score of 612. After firing a 311 in the first round, Union made a surge and ended the final day shooting at 301.

Host Tusculum (Tenn.) brought home the title with an overall score of 569 (285-284) in a field lined with NCAA Division II

Conor Sutton (JR/Dublin, Ireland) paced the Bulldogs shooting a two-day score of 146 (77-69), which tied him for 15th. Sutton ended the day on a strong note as his 69 in the final day was one of the top scores of the day.

Erik Hermansson (JR/Gothenburg, Sweden) finished the invite with a total score of 154 (77-77), while Jacob Vaughn (FR/Barbourville, Ky. ) finished close behind him with a 156 (79-77). Nick Blankenship (SR/Lexington, Ky. ) and Jonathan Larsson (FR/Tyreso, Sweden) were not far behind either with a 160 (78, 82) for Blankenship and a 164 (86-78) for Larsson.

Union returns to action on April 10-11 for the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Spring Championship at Milligan College.
