LONDON, Ky. – The Union College men's golf team wrapped up the final day of competition at the 2017 SEKI Tournament with the Bulldogs finished eighth out of nine teams Tuesday afternoon.

Union ended the two-day competition with a final round score of 313 to finish the tournament with an overall score of 636. Champion Lindsey Wilson edged the field with a two-day score of 598.

Erik Hermansson (JR/Gothenburg, Sweden) led the way for Union shooting a 74 in the final round to give him a 147 total score, finishing tied for first place. Hermansson and Lindsey Wilson's Rasmus Lind went head to head, but it would be Lind to receive the Medalist Honors after a three-hole playoff where he hit par on the 17th whole.

The next top performances for Union came from Nick Blankenship (SR/Lexington, Ky. ) (80, 77) and Conor Sutton (JR/Dublin, Ireland) (81, 82), as Blankenship shot a 157 and Sutton shot 163, which was good enough for 22nd and 32nd place.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday to kick off the Tusculum College Invitational in Greeneville, Tenn.
