GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Union College men's golf team participated in the Saginaw Valley State University Tournament Saturday and Sunday in Georgetown, Ky. at the Cherry Blossom Golf Course.

In a strong field amongst NCAA Division II competition, the Bulldogs ended the invitational shooting an overall score of 639 in two rounds (331, 308). Bellarmine (Ky.) paced the pack with a score of 592 (306, 286).

Individually, Conor Sutton (JR/Dublin, Ireland) led the Bulldogs, firing an overall score of 153 (78, 75) while Nick Blankenship (SR/Lexington, Ky. ) finished right behind him at 157 (84, 73). Erik Hermanson rounded out for the Bulldogs with an overall score of 162 (85, 77).  Jacob Vaughn (FR/Barbourville, Ky. ) followed him with an overall score of 168 (84,84), with Jonathan Larsson (FR/Tyreso, Sweden) behind him with an overall score of 172 (89,83).

Union will get right back to action joining the women's team Monday as they compete in the SEKI at Crooked Creek in London, Ky.
