BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College women's basketball team had four of its own named 2016-17 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Monday.

Receiving the honors for the Bulldogs are Annalee Adams (JR/Pineville, Ky.), Kaitlyn Stittums (JR/Harlan, Ky.), Morgan Garnett (JR/Pineville, Ky.), and Reagan King (SR/Hindman, Ky.).

In all, 286 student-athletes in NAIA Division II women's basketball made the list.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
