BARBOURVILLE, - Ky. - The Union College women's basketball team returned to their winning ways as it defeated St. Andrews (N.C.) 100-52 in Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play on Wednesday. 

This is the first game this season that the Bulldogs scored 100 points in a game. 

It was raining 3-pointers as both teams made a combined total of 25 3-pointers for the game. The Bulldogs would hold 17 of those 3-pointers with 14 of those coming in the first half. The Bulldogs put up 65 points during the first two periods to the Knights' 26.  

Leading the team after the half was Kasey Young (JR/Danville, Ky.) and Dannika Prater (SO/Clarksville, Tenn.) as they both put out 14 points apiece. The second half would continue like the first as Union takes the win by 48 points, the biggest win this season.

With the win, the Bulldogs move to 14-8 overall and 8-7 in AAC play, while St. Andrews fall to 5-15 on the season and 2-13 in conference play.

Prater led Union with a game-high 20 points shooting 7-for-14 from the field.

Three more Bulldogs ended the night with double digits as both Brianna Adler (FR/Burlington, Ky.) and Young showed a strong display on offense. Adler collected 15 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the floor with Young finishing with 14 points going 2-for-3 from downtown and 5-9 from the paint.
