SIOUX CITY, Iowa - The Union College volleyball team's NAIA National Championship run came to a halt Thursday evening as it fell in the one-set playoff to 19th-ranked Jamestown (N.D.) by the score of 25-16.

The Bulldogs end the year with a 34-11 overall record, tying the program mark for most wins in a season.

Jamestown used a 4-0 spurt early on to build a 6-2 lead and eventually built a 18-9 lead en route to the nine-point final margin.

Union wrapped the year having won both the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament championships as well as collecting two national tournament victories - the first by any AAC team ever.
