BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College football team returns to Mid-South Conference (MSC) East play this weekend as No. 11 Georgetown (Ky.) comes to Williamson Stadium.

Kickoff is set for 6 p.m., and this is the Bulldogs' Homecoming game.

Both teams are undefeated in MSC East play, meaning the winner will have the inside track to the conference championship.

The Tigers enter the contest 5-1 overall and 3-0 in MSC East play, while the Bulldogs are 3-3 overall and 2-0 in league play. Georgetown's lone loss came at the hands of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and picked up MSC East wins over Cincinnati Christian (35-7), Kentucky Christian (31-7) and Bluefield (28-7). Union's league victories were over Cincinnati Christian (42-0) and Cumberlands (49-45).

Only Pikeville (Ky.) is unbeaten in MSC East play at 1-0.

Quarterback Alex Bell (JR/Daytona Beach, Fla.) posted his second consecutive 300-yard game, marking the first time a Bulldog signal-caller accomplished the feat since 2014. On the year, Bell has thrown for 661 yards and four touchdowns. Union boasts one of the top passing offenses, ranking 11th in total passing yards at 1,727 and 14th in passing yards per game at 287.2.
