BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – The Union College men's golf team picks up a fifth-place finish at the Blue Raider Classic.

After the first round, the Bulldogs shot an impressive 287 which tied the team in second place with host Lindsey Wilson (Ky.). However, due to some injuries Union ended the final round with an overall score of 308 giving the Bulldogs a two-day total of 595 finishing in fifth place.

Lindsey Wilson made a final round surge to end the two-day classic with an overall score of 566, two strokes under par to nab the first place title.

Simon Berglund led the Bulldogs firing a two-day score of 148. He was sitting in fourth place after a first round score of 70 followed with a final round score of 78 to finish in 18th place. Alasdair Ross and Andy Dusek also had strong outings. Ross ended the classic with an overall score of 149 (73-76) while Dusek fired a two-day total of 150 (75-75).

Conor Sutton and Nick Blankenship rounded out the finishes for the Bulldogs shooting a 152 and 154, respectively.
