BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College football team returns home to Williamson Stadium on Saturday to welcome No. 19 Bethel (Tenn.) in a Mid-South Conference (MSC) inter-divisional showdown.

Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. Union is 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the MSC East, and Bethel enters the game 5-0 overall and 0-0 in MSC West.

Union looks to return to its winning ways after a 53-17 loss at No. 7 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) last weekend. The Bulldogs saw some positive signs out of the defeats as Alex Bell (JR/Daytona Beach, Fla.) posted his first career 300-yard passing game in making his first start since the 2014 campaign. As a team, Union racked up 499 yards in total offense.

Bethel is the second in a stretch of three ranked teams Union faces in a row.

Fans can expect the potential for lots of points in this game as the Wildcats are averaging 41.0 points per game with the Bulldogs averaging 35.2. This is the 13th meeting between Union and Bethel, and five times the winning team has scored over 50 points.

The series is tied at 6-6 with Bethel winning the last three meetings.
