COLUMBIA, Ky. – Two Union College women bowlers earned Academic All-Mid-South Conference honors for their efforts off the lanes and in the classroom, announced on Wednesday.

Andrea Claypool (SO) and Marissa Campbell (SR/Brighton, Mich.) nabbed the award, and this was Campbell's second consecutive year earning this honor in a Bulldog jersey.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point aver of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and much have achieved a least sophomore academic status.

Pikeville (Ky.) collected the most academic honorees with 10, while Campbellsville (Ky.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and St. Catharine (Ky.) each tied for the second with five honorees each.

The Bulldogs are set to compete at the Mid-South Conference Championships in Bowling Green, Ky. On Feb. 12-13.
